The building was in a very poor state. Brays were selected because of their experience with Heritage restoration.
As with many old buildings the challenges were often hidden behind years of decay and patched up repairs.
We undertook to create something that would celebrate the heritage of this building and be of use to the local people. The project also included redevelopment of the space to include a post office and library
This included installing a lift, linking two separate buildings, developing valuable rental space for offices and restoring the lecture rooms.
The project is one of our proudest achievements, which resulted in Daniel our founder being invited to Westminster to celebrate this achievement.
